WHO WE ARE
OPENDOOR ACADEMY:
Redeeming Education
OpenDoor Academy, an initiative of OpenDoor Church, is more than just a school—it’s a mission to transform the way children learn by merging academic excellence with a strong foundation in faith. The academy offers a hybrid educational model that actively involves parents as key partners in their child’s education. This approach recognizes that parents are the primary educators of their children and provides them with the resources, support, and structure to succeed in this role.
The academy emphasizes the redemption of education by integrating faith-based principles throughout the classical education curriculum, creating an environment where students not only grow in knowledge but also in their spiritual walk with God.
This model encourages a biblical worldview, fostering values such as integrity, compassion, and leadership in students. By doing so, OpenDoor Academy prepares students to excel academically while also equipping them with the moral and spiritual tools to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
A Christian, Classical, Collaborative and Cost-Effective school, OpenDoor Academy creates a nurturing atmosphere where students feel valued, challenged, and inspired. This unique blend of parental involvement, academic rigor, and spiritual development makes OpenDoor Academy a standout choice for families seeking a transformative educational experience for their children.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Apostle's Creed
We believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy Christian church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
